The pages here contain information about the Parish of Traprain and the three churches which united when it was formed.

The Parish of Traprain Graveyards Survey Group is in the process of recording the monumental inscriptions in the churchyards of the parish and the results of that project can be found here.

Also included are some guidelines, based on the work of the survey group, which might help anyone interested in carrying out a graveyard survey.

If you find any of the information here interesting or useful, or if you can suggest how it could be improved, we would be delighted to hear from you. To send an email just click on this contact link or on the one at the bottom of any page of the website.

If you want to return to this page at any time, click on the Home link at the foot of any page.

This web site was first produced using an Acorn StrongARM Risc PC running the RISC OS operating system. The software which runs on this system is renowned for it's ease of use and versatility. The site is now maintained using an Iyonix PC, Castle Technology's most recent computer running RISC OS 5. Although production of this computer has now ceased, RISC OS can still be run using either RPCemu on a linux system, or VirtualAcorn on a Windows PC or Mac.

RISC OS was created by Acorn Computers, who designed and built the BBC Micro, the ground-breaking home computer of the 1980s.

Follow the links below if you would like to find out more about RISC OS and the computers it runs on.
