Erected to the memory of William Thomson, mason, Whittingham who died 25th Jany 1860 aged 69 years and his wife Elizabeth Cowe who died Decr. 22nd 1864 aged 71 years. Also George their son who died 17th July 1852 aged 14 years. Agnes their daughter who died 15th Sept. 1852 aged 8 years. James their son who died 20th April 1856 aged 15 years. And George their son who died 20th July 1861 aged 25 years.
