This inscription was recorded in an earlier survey completed
in 1971 by Miss Jenny Brown and Miss Margaret Warren.
Here lyes the corps of John Broun who died Aprile 1 1734 in the 5th year of his age and also Robert Broun who died January 1 1735 in the ? year of his age both children to James Broun tenant at Bees Knoll & Alison Yule his spouse. Likewise Elizabeth Broun who died 26th January 1742 aged 2 months. Likewise --- --- died July 1744 aged 17 years.
