Surveyor's 'Toolkit'
You will need to gather together the following:
- 30 metre surveyor's tape - a second one is very useful, and saves time, but unfortunately these are expensive.
- 3 or 5 metre tape, for measuring the shorter distances.
- Some metal pins or pegs (6 inch galvanised nails are strong and rust resistant), and 1 inch 'penny' washers to fit. A hammer to drive them in, if the ground is hard.
- A length of strong twine. Orange nylon is easily seen.
