William Thomson was a Farm Servant then a Market Gardener at the Lint Mill. He was the son of Alexander Thomson, Ploughman, and Mary Denholm. Marion Amos was the daughter of Robert Amos, a Shepherd, and Margaret Brown. She was a Domestic Servant when she married in 1896. She died at the Lint Mill.
