Also his Mother ELSPETH LAWRIE,
who died 26th Feby. 1855, aged 78 years.
CATHERINE McDONALD, wife of
JOHN DRYSDALE, died 11th Septr. 1863,
Aged 38 years.
JOHN DRYSDALE, died 20th Jany. 1869,
Aged 53 years.


Thomas Drysdale was born in Oldhamstocks Parish in 1802. His father Robert was a Ploughman married to Elspeth Lawrie, who died at Newbarn Farm. Her parents were Thomas Lawrie and Elspeth Wood. Catherine McDonald was the daughter of John McDonald, an Agricultural Labourer. She died during childbirth in Stenton. Her husband John Drysdale, a Road Surfaceman and General Labourer, was the son of Robert Drysdale and Elspeth Lawrie and died at Stenton.
