Margaret Mercer was born at Whittingehame Mains Farm where her father Andrew Mercer was a Hind, latterly a Farm Manager, and her mother was Jane Bartleman. She died at Biel Park. Henry Moon was a Gamekeeper, the son of William Moon, Gamekeeper, and Grace Richards. He became the Proprietor of the George Hotel in Moniave.
