AGED 85 YEARS.


William Blair was a Mason in Stenton. Christian Paterson was the daughter of John Paterson, a Blacksmith at Burnhead, Spott Parish, and Martha Hendry. They had seven children including Alexander, who was also a Mason in Stenton. Alexander died unmarried at Stenton. John Dickson, who died in 1903, was successively a Gardener, Farm Grieve and Baker. He was the son of John Dickson, a Farrier, and Martha Dickieson, and married Alison Blair. Christina Dickson was their daughter as was Alison Dickson, who was a Domestic Servant in Stenton where she died, unmarried. John Dickson, died 1932, their son, became a Draper in Edinburgh, and married Lavinia Mary Mackieson [See No 313]. Their daughters were Agnes Julia Dickson and Martha Blair Cochrane.
