William Currie, a Shepherd, was born in Melrose but was latterly at Pitcox Farm. His parents were James Currie, Mason, and Margaret Kirkwood. He died from a fall into the Biel Burn. Christian Richardson was the daughter of James Richardson, Ploughman, and Mary Simpson. Mary Currie was a Domestic Housekeeper and James Currie was a Shepherd.
