Agnes Galbraith McCorkindale died at Stenton aged 24 years, unmarried. She was the daughter of William McCorkindale, a Traveller in biscuits, and Agnes Galbraith. William Galbraith was a Grocer in Maybole, Ayrshire, and married Janet Grierson from Stenton in 1844. Two children were Samuel Galbraith, a Grocer in Cumbernauld, who died unmarried, and Elizabeth, also unmarried, who died at Stenton.
