David Young was a Joiner and Master of Works for Biel Estate and lived at Biel Hill. He was the son of James Young, Farmer, and Annie Wood. Elizabeth Tevendale was the daughter of David Tevendale, Farmer, and Ann Peterkin. Alexander Young, a Papermaker in Edinburgh, was married to Bessie Paterson Cormack.
