William Trotter married Allison Lawrie on 31 May 1783. Thomas Trotter was a Flesher, and probably Baker, for over 20 years in Stenton Village. His Will was registered at Haddington on 23 March 1868. He married his second wife Alison Murray in Stenton in 1849. His daughter Isabella died in Montrose, unmarried.
