William Stewart was a Shepherd who died at Ruchlaw Muir, Whittingehame parish. His parents were James Stewart, Shepherd, and Isabella Stevenson. Agnes Ballantyne was the daughter of William Ballantyne, Shepherd, and Agnes Purves. She died at Meiklerig Farm. William Stewart, her son, was also a Shepherd. He died unmarried at Beesknowe Farm in 1882.
