died the 6th April 1845, aged 34 years.

George Combe and Agnes Purves were married 4 July 1801 at Whittingehame where they were both living. They then lived in Stenton Village where he was a Blacksmith. He was the Boxmaster of the Stenton Old Friendly Society in 1823. Agnes Combe was born in Stenton 19 July 1811.
