Agnes Purves was the daughter of David Purves, Shepherd, and Jane Forrest [See No 98]. Alexander Aitchison was a Land Steward. An entry in the Mortcloth Dues says: ‘28 April 1833 To Mortcloth for Janet Todrick 4s.’
