William Crombie was a Gardener who lived at Biel Park Cottage and died at Beesknowe. His parents were William Crombie, Joiner, and Janet Sives. An entry in the Mortcloth Dues says: ‘17 Oct 1834 To Mortcloth for John Crombie 4s’. Mary Macdonald died 18 February 1894. Her father was James McDonald, a Crofter.
