in the vigour of life,
by a very sudden and alarming visitation
of PROVIDENCE,
on the 1st of Aug. 1831, at the age of 30 years.

AGED 76 YEARS.

George Lawrie was the son of John Lawrie and Margaret Pratt. He was born 4 June 1801 in Stenton. George Lawrie's family paid 10s for the mortcloth rental; the normal hire was 1s.
