Andrew Purves died 15 November 1872. He was the Farmer at Pressmennan and married Catherine Amos. He was the son of Andrew Purves, Baker, and Sophia Craise [See No 98]. Andrew Purves his son died unmarried. He was a member of the Founding Committee set up to establish Stenton Bowling Club in 1876. [See No 201].
