Stephen Ramage was a Shepherd, the son of Stephen Ramage, Ploughman, and Isabella Duncan. He worked at various farms including Halls, Deuchrie and Ruchlaw Mains. He served with the Black Watch during World War I. Agnes Robertson was the daughter of Philip Robertson, Farm Servant, and Agnes Combe.
