Admiral Brooke inherited Biel Estate from Lieutenant Colonel J. P. Nisbet Hamilton Grant [See No 203]. His great grandfather's brother was James Brooke, the first Rajah of Sarawak. He sold Biel in 1958 to Mr Charles Spence.
