John Patrick Nisbet Hamilton Grant (or ‘Colonel Grant’ as he was known locally) inherited Biel from Charles T. C. Grant, cousin of Robert Nisbet Hamilton [See No 122]. When he died the estate passed to Admiral Brooke [See No 15].
