John Buchan Sydserff was the eldest son of Thomas Buchan Sydserff and Margaret Mowbray [See No 216]. He was a Bank Agent, married to Charlotte Ann Butler-Scott, the daughter of James Scott and Elizabeth Massey. He died before his father. Charlotte donated a stained glass window to the Church in his memory [See No C7] and her daughters presented a stained glass window to the Church in her memory [See No C8]. Ruchlaw Estate eventually passed to their eldest daughter Rosetta Margaret.
