Thomas Buchan Sydserff was the Laird of Ruchlaw Estate. He was the son of John Buchan Sydserff and Margaret Olivier. Margaret Mowbray was the daughter of John Mowbray, Writer to the Signet, and Patricia Hodge. [See No 215].
